MOBO Awards Advertising campaign

 

Challenge 

Create an outdoor and press campaign for Channel 4’s exclusive coverage of the MOBO Awards.

 

Audience

Ahead of the mainstream

 

Solution 

A typographical execution where the nominee names were turned into graphic equalisers whilst combining them with the background to reflect a radio dial. The strapline conceived suggested the volume control on the TV as well as on a hi-fi or radio. The graphic equalisers were positioned differently on all executions to give the campaign great flexibility and dynamic quality.
