eat organic
Brand creation, name generation, e-commerce website design and promotional literature
Challenge
Create a brand and e-commerce shopping website on a similar scale to Ocado or Sainsburys.
Audience
South-East of England, young families, people who are health-conscious and environmentally aware.
Solution
Make organic food fun and appealing to the masses. People always think organic food is boring, I wanted to dispell that. Initially inspired by the Teletubbies, the brand and website are bold, quirky, and fresh. Brand devices created were the bite mark, used in the typography and key images, a typographical basket of products which could be customised, and an ‘It’s not all fruit and veg’ stamp to emphasise the shop also caters for organic nappies, bags, creams, cleaning products and other non–edible items.
A promotional leaflet also accompanied the launch of the website. The leaflet was packaged in a brown paper bag to give it a down to earth, organic feel. The bag was branded with the rubber stamp device and an eatorganic food sticker. The campaign targeted many households in the Thames Valley.
Award winning organic food delivery company Abel & Cole take over Eatorganic. After a successful 3 years, joint owners Diana May and Francesca sold their business to Abel & Cole.
